Assam TET 2018 Notification | Application Form | Syllabus | Exam Dates:

Takes cognizance of  Assam Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhijan  Higher Secondary Education Teachers Eligibility Test (HSETET) 2018 in the pipeline and would like to briefly state in the subsequent Paragraphs: Online Registration Apply – TET for Higher Secondary Examination 2018.

The Teachers’ Eligibility Test Empowered Committee for Higher Secondary Examination, Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhijan is all set to release Detailed Official Notification is likely to be released soon.

Online Registration in response to the Teachers’ Eligibility Test Empowered Committee for Higher Secondary Examination shall commence with the issuance of the Detailed Official Notification 2018.

Deadline for Online Application Forms and Last Date for Payment of the Application Fee at the Bank for Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhijan (RMSA) TET 2018 for Higher Secondary Examination, shall be as per the Date mentioned in the Advertisement.

Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhijan shall conduct on the Officially Notified Date the Higher Secondary Examination Teachers’ Eligibility Test and Special Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) Examination in Hindi and Sanskrut Subjects in Secondary Education, Assam.

We would display on our Website the Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhijan notified Schedule for hosting the Specialist Teachers’ Eligibility Test Examination (STETE) 2018.

Name of the Test: Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhijan (RMSA) HSC Teachers’ Eligibility Test / Special Teachers’ Eligibility Test (STET):

Minimum Educational Qualification for becoming Primary Level / Standard Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage):

Senior Secondary (or its Equivalent) with Minimum 50% Marks for Unreserved Candidates and 45% Marks in case of the Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC) (Central), Other Backward Classes (State) and passed or appearing in Final Year of 02 Years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El. Ed) in December 2018.

Or

Senior Secondary (Or its Equivalent) with Minimum 50% Marks for Unreserved Candidates and 45% Marks in case of the Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Classes (Central), Other Backward Classes (State) and passed or appearing in Final Year of 04-Years Bachelors of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

Or

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with Minimum 50% Marks and 45% Marks in case of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes (Central), Other Backward Classes (State)  Candidates and passed or appearing in the Final Year  of 02-Years Diploma in Education (Special Education).

Minimum Educational Qualification for becoming Upper Primary Level / Graduate Teacher for Classes VI – VIII (Elementary Stage):

B.A. / B.Sc. / B. Com. (or its Equivalent) with 50% Marks for Unreserved Candidates and 45% Marks in case of the Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Classes (Central), OBC (State) and passed or appearing in the Final Year  of 02-Years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) in Decembe.

Or

B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. (or its Equivalent) with Minimum 50% Marks for Unreserved Candidates and 45% Marks in case of the Candidates belonging to SC, ST Other Backward Classes (Central), Other Backward Classes (State) and passed or appearing in the Final Year of 01-Year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).

Note:

  • A person who intends to appear in both the Categories (Primary and Graduate) will have to appear in both Papers separately.
  • For the purpose of this Notification, a Diploma / Degree Course in Teacher Education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) only shall be considered. However, in case of Diploma in Education (Special Education) and B. Ed. (Special Education), a Course recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) only shall be considered.

Assam TET 2018 Syllabus | Exam Pattern

Assam TET will be held in Optical Mark Recognition Based Answer Sheet and comprise Total 500 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions (OTMCQs) based on different Subjects.

There would be No Negative Marking for the Multiple Choice Questions of Objective Type.  All are compulsory.

Note:

Notwithstanding the Minimum Prescribed Marks secured in the Higher Secondary Examination Teachers’ Eligibility Test Specialist Teachers’ Eligibility Test Examination (STETE), the number of the candidates declared as Special Teachers’ Eligibility Test (STET) Examination qualified would be a maximum of double the number of vacancies of Teachers and such candidates will be determined as per Merit Position.

The Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhijan (RMSA) has prescribed the Validity of the Higher Secondary Examination / Specialist Teachers’ Eligibility Test Examination as here under:

Validity of State Teacher Eligibility Test Qualified Certificate:

All the candidates who pass the TET will be awarded a Certificate. The validity of the Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhijan State Teacher Eligibility Test Certificate shall be for a maximum period of 05 (Five) Years from the Date of Issuance of the Certificate by the Empowered Committee, Government of Assam, subject to the condition that the candidate, otherwise, fulfills the Eligibility Criteria prescribed for recruitment to the Services in Government of Assam.
