Bihar Staff Selection Commission conducted on the 1st Date of September 2018 City Manager Written Examination 2018 for Provisional Selection to the Post of City Manager.
The Objective Type Screening Test for the Post of City Manager (Direct Recruitment) 2016 comprising 100 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective Type for 70 Marks, where 0.70 Mark shall be awarded for each Correct Response with Negative Marking of 0.70/4 (.175 Mark) involved for every Wrong Answer.

Bihar Staff Selection Commission may like to fix the Category-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks aimed at Shortlisting the Candidates for Selection to the Posts.
The Candidates Provisionally Selected on Merit in the Written Examination shall be put to Evaluation / Assessment of their Contractual Service Span, where 10 Marks shall be awarded in case of Successful Completion of each Single Year and 30 Marks remain Maximum to be allocated to the Candidates.
Procedure for Selection
Objective Type Test comprising 100 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective Type for 70 Marks (implying 0.70 Marks for each Correct Response / Right Answer and Deduction of .175 Marks for every Wrong Answer leading to preparation of the Provisional Merit List. The Candidates declared Successful with the Minimum Qualifying Standard in the Objective Type of the Written Examinations shall be called for Viva voce involving Verification of the Certificates and Documents and Evaluation / Assessment of the Marks for the Contractual Service Period.

Bihar Staff Selection Commission shall prepare the Final Select List in order of Merit determined taking into consideration the Merit in the Written Examination and Eligibility with the Marks obtained for Evaluation / Assessment for the Marks for Contractual Service and Successful Verification of the Certificates and Documents.
