CBSE CTET 2019 Notification | Application Form | Syllabus | Admit Card:
Taking cognizance of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2019 scheduled to conduct on September 2019 for award of CTET Certificate in the Union Territories and States of India states certain important input in respect of the said upcoming Central TET 2019 in the subsequent Paragraphs. The online applications starting date of August 2019 and last date of submitting online registration form.
CBSE CTET Application Form 2019
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued the press release communication of the CTET 2019 Application form for eligible and interesting students from August 2019 through the online official portal. The students may submit the online application from till the last date of form submission i.e August 2019.
The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi will be conducting the Edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on as the official Announcement for a candidate to be eligible for appointment as a teacher of Classes First to Eighth.

That the Central Board of Secondary Education shall conduct the Edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test, 2019 in various parts of the country.

Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit:
There is No Minimum / Maximum Age Limit in case of Un-Reserved / Other Backward Classes/ Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes / Persons with Disabilities, Ex-Service-Men among others.
Educational Qualification:
The Central Board of Secondary Education has stipulated the Minimum Educational Qualification as hereunder:
Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage:
Senior Secondary (or its Equivalent) with Minimum 50% Marks and Passed / appearing in the Final Year of 02-Years’ Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) (by whatever Name known)
Or
Senior Secondary (or its Equivalent) with at least 45% Marks and Passed or appearing in the Final Year of 02-Years’ Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) (by whatever Name known), in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002.
Or
Senior Secondary (or its Equivalent) with Minimum 50% Marks and Passed / appearing in the Final Year of 04-Years’ Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
Or
Senior Secondary (or its Equivalent) with Minimum 50% Marks and Passed or appearing in the Final Year of 02-Years Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.
Or
Graduation and Passed or appearing in the Final Year of the Two (02) Years’ Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) (by whatever Name known).
Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI – VIII: Elementary Stage
Graduation and Passed or appearing in the Final Year of 02-Years’ Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) (by whatever Name known).
Or
Graduation with Minimum 50% Marks and Passed / appearing in 01-Year’s Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).
Or
Graduation with Minimum 45% Marks and Passed or appearing in 01-Year’s Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
Or
Senior Secondary (or its Equivalent) with Minimum 50% Marks and passed or appearing in the Final Year of 04-Years’ Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
Or
Senior Secondary (or its Equivalent) with Minimum 50% Marks and Passed or appearing in the Final Year of 04-Years’ B.A. / B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed.
Or
Graduation with Minimum 50% Marks and passed or appearing in 01-Year’s B.Ed. (Special Education)*
Relaxation:
The Candidates belonging to the Reserved Categories (OBC / SC / ST / DAP) shall be given a Relaxation of 5% (Five) Per centum in Minimum Education Qualification.
CBSE CTET 2019 Syllabus | Exam Pattern
All the Items in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) would be Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions (OTMCQs), with Four Alternatives out of which one Answer shall be correct.
Each Correct Answer shall carry One (01) Mark. There will be no Negative Marking.
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test shall consist of two Papers, as here under:
(i) Paper-I will be for a person who intends to be a Teacher for Classes I to V.
(ii) Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a Teacher for Classes VI to VIII.
(ii) Papers I & II will be for a person who intends to be a Teacher for both Ist – VIIIth

Validity Period of CTET Certificate: 2019
The Validity Period of the CTET Qualifying Certificate for appointment will be Seven (07 Years from the Date of the Declaration of its Result for all Categories.
There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person 2019 take for acquiring a Central Teacher Eligibility Test Certificate. A person who has qualified the CTET might also appear again for improving his / her Score.
Applicability:
- The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) shall apply to the Schools of the Central Government [Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), Central Tibetan Schools (CTS), etc.] and the Schools under the Administrative Control of the Union Territories (UTs) of Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli (DNH), Daman & Diu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands (DDANIs), Lakshadweep and the National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCTD).
- The Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2019 also apply to the Un-Aided Private Schools (UAPS), who 2019 exercise the option of considering the CTET.
- The Schools owned and managed by the State Governments / Local Bodies and the Aided Schools shall consider the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the State Government. However, a State Government might also consider the Central Teacher Eligibility Test, if it decides not to conduct the State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET).
- According to the Central Board of Secondary Education Affiliation Bye-Law 53, prescribing the Minimum Qualifications for the Teachers to teach various Subjects in Classes I to VIII in the Schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) stands amended to that extent and it shall be mandatory that the Teachers appointed hereinafter, i.e., the 6th of March 2012 (06.03.2012) to teach the Ist to VIIIth Classes in the Schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education shall have to qualify / pass the Central Teacher Eligibility Test or Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), conducted by the appropriate Central / State Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for this purpose.
Note:
A person intending to be a Teacher for both Levels (Classes I to V and Classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the Papers (Paper I and Paper II).

Mode of Payment:
Remittance through e-Challan by depositing the prescribed Fee in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test Examination Fee Account with the Syndicate Bank or HDFC Bank. By Debit / Credit Card.
A Candidate might get a Duplicate Copy of the Marks Statement or Eligibility Certificate by paying the prescribed Fee by way of Demand Draft in favor of The Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education drawn on any Nationalized Bank, payable in Delhi. The Format for applying for the Duplicate Marks Statement / Certificate is available on the CTET’s Official Website.
CBSE CTET 2019 Admit Card Download
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will upload the admit card at the official website. You may download the admit card by entering application number and date of birth/password etc details through the official website.
