CEPTAM 09 STA ‘B’ DRDO Entry Test (Tier-I & Tier-II) Examination 2018 Admit Card:
The CENTRE FOR PERSONNEL TALENT MANAGEMENT (CEPTAM) shall issue the e-Admission Certificates for Defence Research And Development Organisation (DRDO) Entry Test (T-I &T-II) Examination 2018 Minimum 02 Weeks prior to Commencement of the Computer-Based Online Recruitment Test Screening Examination.
Computer Based Test (CBT) for CEPTAM09/STA-B Advertisement will be held during 15th – 18thDecember 2018 (in two shifts). Admit Card will be uploaded by 30th November 2018.
The e-Admit Cards will be available on our Website for Download / Print, Minimum / at least 02 Weeks prior to commencement of the CEPTAM STA ‘B’ CBT Screening Examination. The Admit Cards will not be sent by Post. The Candidates must print (preferably in Color) Individual Admit Card and carry it for appearing in the Computer Based Online Recruitment Test Screening Examinations. Valid Original Photo Identity / Identification (as mentioned in the Online Application Forms) is Mandatory with the Admit Card to appear in the Computer-Based Online Test / Examination.

CEPTAM DRDO Entry Test (Tier – I & Tier – II) Examination 2018:
The CENTRE FOR PERSONNEL TALENT MANAGEMENT shall declare the Date/s for Defence Research And Development Organisation Entry Test (Tier – I & Tier – II) Examination 2018 following the Deadline (29.08.2018) for Online Registration / Online Application Forms closing on the 29th Date of August 2018.
The Date for the CEPTAM STA ‘B’ Computer Based Online Recruitment Test / Examination shall be published on the Defence Research And Development Organisation CENTRE FOR PERSONNEL TALENT MANAGEMENT (DRDO CEPTAM) Website later. The Date, Time and the Venue for the Senior Technical Assistant ‘B’ CBT Screening Examination will be given on mentioned in the Examination Admission Certificates / Admit Cards issued for the Candidates.
The CENTRE FOR PERSONNEL TALENT MANAGEMENT will conduct the Computer-Based Online Test for Screening termed as DRDO Entry Test (Tier – I & Tier – II) as delineated in the Tabular Format hereunder:

In case of the Application For Multiple Posts, the Candidates applying for more than one Post Code should submit their respective Applications Online, duly completed in all respects, separately. Tier-I Computer Based Online Recruitment Test Screening Examination: The Candidates, who have applied for more than one Post Code, should be aware that Center for each CBT Screening Examination may be different, and the Competitive Examination may be conducted on the same Day / Shift.
If the CBORT Screening Examinations are in Two Different Shifts on the same Day, it will be the Candidate’s Responsibility to reach the Allocated Examination Center. If the CBT Based Screening Examination for Two Post Codes applied for by the Candidate happens to be in the same Shift, He / She shall be able to appear in the Examination of One Post Code as per His / Her Own Choice. Tier-II CBT Screening Examination: It is to be noted that Tier-II Examination will be in One Shift in parallel for all the Post Codes, so the Candidate will get the opportunity to appear in the Screening Examination of only One Post Code as per His / Her Own Choice.
DRDO CEPTAM DRDO Entry Test (Tier – I & Tier – II) Examination 2018 Category-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks:
Tier – I Examination is for Screening. The Category-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks to be secured in Tier – I Examiantion are 40% for Un-Reserved / Other Backward Classes Candidates, and 35% for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe Candidates.
The Candidates would be Provisionally Shortlisted on the basis of Tier – I Examination Merit in a ratio of 1:10 (No. of Vacancy: Number of the Shortlisted Candidates) provided they secure the Minimum Qualifying Marks in Examination. However, this Ratio may increase depending upon Organizational Requirements. The Last Candidate securing Equal Marks within the Bracket will also be included. These Shortlisted Candidates will be called for Tier – II Examination.
CEPTAM Underlying Procedure ‘Recap’ for Selection to the Posts is as follows:
The Process of Selection shall consist of the Defence Research And Development Organisation (DRDO) Entry Test in Two Tiers: Tier – I, Tier – II & Preliminary Document Verification. Tier – I & Tier – II Tests:
- Both the Screening Tests shall be Computer Based Online Test (CBOT). The Computer-Based Test will be conducted in Two (02) Tiers as described in Table-1.
- The Computer-Based Test will comprise the Multiple Choice Questions of Objective Type only.
- The Syllabus for the Computer-Based Online Test Based Screening Examinations will be commensurate to the Essential Qualification required for the Post.
- The Medium for the CBT Based Screening Examination will be Hindi or English.
- Tier – I Examination is for the Screening Purpose only.
- Tier – II Examination is for Provisional Selection.
- The Marks will be normalized in Tier – I & Tier – II Examinations as per the Best Practices.
Methodology for Resolving TIE Cases For Tier-II Examination:
In cases where more than one Candidate secure Equal Aggregate Marks in Tier – II Examination, TIE Cases will be resolved by applying the Following Criteria, One-After-Another, as Applicable till the TIE is Resolved.
- The Marks obtained in Tier – I Examination.
- Date of Birth, Senior / Elder / Older Candidate placed Higher in Merit List.
- Alphabetical Order in which the Names of the Candidates appears.
**Provisional Selection Criteria:
Provisional Selection to the Posts shall be based on the Merit secured in Tier – II Examination depending upon the Post / Category / Sub-Category of the Candidate. The Minimum Qualifying Marks for Tier – II is 40% for Un-Reserved / Other Backward Classes Candidate and 35% in case of Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe Candidates.
