Common Law Admission Test CLAT-2017, Entrance Test Form,Notification,Syllabus,Admit Card:

The Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) notified Common Law Admission Test 2017 for admission into Pan India Law Program in various Law Universities cited in the Table in the Latter Section. Chanakya National University of Law (CNLU), the Organizing University (OU) for Pan India National Law University Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2017 in coordination with all other 17 National Law Universities (NLUs) / National Universities of Law (NULs) across India.

The Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) activate Online Registration Web Links commencing on the 1st of January 2017 (01.01.2017); close on the 31st of March 2017 Submission of the Online Application Forms for the Candidates appearing in the All India National Law University Common Law Admission Test 2016;

  • host on the 14th of May 2017 (14.05.2017) the All India National Law University Common Law Admission Test (NLU CLAT) 2017;
  • announce on the 25th of May 2017 (25.05.2017) the Results for Pan India National Law University Common Law Admission Test
  • organize 03 Rounds of Online Off Counseling in lieu of 04 Rounds of Counseling for admission into Under Graduate Program (05 Years Integrated B.A. LL.B. (Hons) Course & Post Graduate (01-Year LL.M. Course).  

Nota Bene:

Pan India National Law Universities have set Maximum Age 20 Years for Admission into the National Law Universities for the Candidate in 2017 onward. There was no Cap on Age Limit prior to this Year.  

CLAT 2017 Online Application Form

Chanakya National Law University may like to release within 72 – 96 Hours the Optical Mark Recognition Based Answer Sheet / Test Question Booklet Preliminary Answers Key / Provisional Answers Key within;

  • seek within 48 – 72 Hours the Candidates’ Objection / Representation, if any, relating to NLU CLAT 2017 OTMCQs or the Test Question Answers Key;
  • upload on CLAT 2017 Website the Amended Answers Key (if any) within Two Weeks.
  • Hence, in view of the National Law University Common Law Admission Test 2017, the Candidates fulfilling the prescribed Eligibility Criteria for Admission into the Under Graduate (05 Years Integrated B.A. LL.B. (Hons) Course and Post Graduate (01-Year LL.M. Program) for the Academic Year 2017 – 2018 may like to apply.

The National Law Universities shall

CLAT 2017 Admit Card Download 

The Candidates Successfully Registered shall be able to start downloading their respective electronics Admission Certificates / Hall Tickets / electronics Admit Cards after the 20th of April 2017 (20.04.2017).

Chanakya National University of Law shall host the CLAT 2017 on the 14th of May 2017 (14.05.2017) at the Select Examination Venues throughout the Country.

Chanakya National University of Law has not notified the Date in regard to declaring the Result of the Common Law Admission Test 2017.

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit:  Maximum 20 Years

Under Graduate Program (05 Years Integrated B.A. LL.B. (Hons) Course

The Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (10+2) with Minimum 45% in respect of the candidates belonging to General or Un-Reserved Category / Other Backward Classes / Specially-Abled Persons and 40% in case of the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe Community. The Candidates appearing in the upcoming Qualifying Examination scheduled in March / April 2017 are also eligible to apply / appear in the CLAT 2017

UR or General / OBC / SAPs: Rs. 4000/-

SC / ST: Rs. 3500/-

 

Post Graduate (01-Year LL.M. Course)

The Candidate must have in possession LL.B.  Degree or Equivalent Examination Degree with Minimum 55% in respect of the candidates belonging to General or Un-Reserved Category / Other Backward Classes / Specially-Abled Persons and 50% in case of the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe Community. The Candidates appearing in the upcoming Qualifying Examination scheduled in April / May 2017
