CUCET 2018 Application Form | Notification | Syllabus | Admit Card | Ques Papers:

Central Universities Common Entrance Test 2018:  The Coordinating Central University for providing Admissions to UG/ PG/ Integrated/ PG Diploma/ MPhil/ Ph.D programmes in the Central Participating Universities (PUs) is likely to advertise the CUCET 2018 Notification. Central Universities CUCET 2018 Applications shall be invited Online from March 2018 onwards from the Eligible Candidates as per notification. The Candidates aspiring for Central Universities Haryana, CU Jammu, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kashmir, Kerala, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu shall apply for Common Entrance Test 2018.

CUCET 2018 Notification

Central Universities CET 2018: As per notification the Application forms from Eligible Candidates are going to be invited for Central PUs from March 2018. For Admissions to the UG/ PG/ PG Diploma/ Mphil/ Ph.D/ Integrated programmes Central Universities Common Entrance Test 2018 expected to be conducted in the month of May 2018 (Tentative) & through Counseling process Universities/ College allocation shall take place.

Candidates aspiring for detailed Central Universities Admissions 2018-19 consisting Application form/ Submission dates/ Eligibility Criteria/ Courses Offered/ Admission process/ Entrance Dates-Admit Cards-Syllabus-Result/ Counseling process etc to be notified hereunder.

CUCET 2018 Online Application Form

The Central Universities (PUs) will organize a combined CENTRAL UNIVERSITIES COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (CUCET 2018) for Admissions to their various programmes. The Test shall be organized across the country on scheduled dates, the coordinating universities are shortly going to invite the aspiring students to apply for Admissions to the courses in PUs.

  • UG & Integrated Courses (52 Courses)
  • PG, B.Ed & PG Diploma Programmes (177 Courses)
  • MPhil &/ or Ph.D Research Programmes (92 Courses)

CUCET 2018 Admissions Application form/ Last Date: 2018

MA Graduation from any recognized university with a minimum 50 % marks or equivalent grade in aggregate.
M.Phil A candidate shall be eligible for admission to M.Phil Programme, if he/she:

(i) Has qualified Master’s Degree in the subject concerned / allied / cognate subjects with at least 55% marks, in aggregate from the University and/or a degree recognized by the University for this purpose as its equivalent.

 

Important Note: The candidates shall appear for a written test conducted by the University to be followed by an interview to be conducted by the concerned Department, which shall carry weightage of 80% and 20% respectively. Candidates who have cleared NET/JRF/SET/Teacher

Ph.D A candidate shall be eligible for admission to the Ph.D. programme, if he/she:

Has qualified Master’s Degree in the subject concerned / allied / cognate subjects with at least 55% marks, in aggregate

Important Note for Ph.D Programmes:

The candidates shall appear for a written test conducted by the University to be followed by an interview to be conducted by the concerned Department, which shall carry weightage of 80% and 20% respectively. The candidates who have qualified UGC/CSIR/JRF/NET/SLET or are Teacher Fellowship holders or have passed M. Phil programme with course work recognized by the U.G.C. as per UGC Regulations (Minimum Standards and Procedure for award of M.Phil. /Ph.D. Degree, 2009) shall be exempted from appearing for the

 

MBA Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian or foreign university (foreign recognition to be as per AIU list) with at least 50% marks aggregate or equivalent grade.

The candidates shall appear for a written test conducted by the University to be followed by an  interview to be conducted by the concerned Department, which shall carry weightage of 80% and 20% respectively. The candidates who have qualified UGC/CSIR/JRF/NET/SLET or are Teacher Fellowship holders or have passed M. Phil programme with course work recognized by the U.G.C. as per UGC Regulations (Minimum Standards and Procedure for award of M.Phil. /Ph.D. Degree, 2009) shall be exempted from appearing for the written test. Such applicants will, however, be required to appear for the personal interview. In case of the candidates exempted from the written test, the interview shall carry 100% weightage.

Admission Process:

UG Programmes (including Integrated courses):-

Ø Call for counselling will be based on the CUCET-2018 score.

Ø Admission to all UG & Integrated programmes will be based on CUCET score & +2 marks in relevant subject.

Ø Academic record of +2 will be considered as minimum eligibility criteria.

Ø Date of Counselling –July, 2018

Ø All candidates are requested to watch the notice for counselling based on Cut-off.

Ø All those who had applied for CUTN need not separately apply again.

PG Programmes:-

Ø The admission will be based on the CUCET-2018 score

Ø Candidates are advised to watch this website for further notification

Ø Date of Counselling to be announced shortly (June-July 2018)

For PhD admission:-

The call letter will be issued by the respective departments separately by e-mail & website notification
