Entrance Test 2019 held in June 2019 for Admission into 03-Years Post Graduate Course and 02-Years’ Post Graduate Master of Legislative Laws Brief on the Post-Announcement of LL.B. / LL.M. Entrance Test 2019 especially on Counseling, Interview Date to be declared in July 2019 in the subsequent Paragraphs:
DU LLB LLM Entrance Exam Result 2019
The Office of the Controller of Examinations, in coordination with the Faculty of Law, shall declare towards June-end 2019 the Results for the LL.B. / LL.M. Entrance Test 2019 . Notice in respect of Counseling for Admission into i) Bachelor of Legislative Laws, ii) Master of Legislative Laws Courses may be declared in concurrence with Announcement of the Result of LL.B. / LL.M. Entrance Test 2019 .
Documents Required At The Time Of Counseling:
The Candidates shall need to carry with them the Following Documents for Verification during Counseling to be held as per the Dates to be announced in July 2019 , mentioned hereunder:
- Admission Ticket of LL.B. / LL.M. Entrance Test, 2019;
- Date of Birth / Age Certificate (High School Certificate / Matriculation);
- Character Certificate (not Older than Six (06) Months on the Date of Admission);
- Degree Certificate (Provisional Certificate, if applicable) of the Qualifying Degree Examination;
- Mark-Sheet(s) / Marks Statement of the Qualifying Degree Examination;
- Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) / Persons with Disabilities / CW Certificate;
- Eight (08) Passport Size Photographs.
DU LL.B. / LL.M. Entrance Test 2019 Merit List
The Controller of Examinations shall draw up the Merit Lists based on the Candidates’ individual Performance and Marks secured in the Entrance Test for Bachelor of Legislative Laws / Master of Legislative Laws for the Academic Session 2019.
The Controller of Examinations Declared Bachelor of Legislative Laws / Master of Legislative Laws Entrance Test shall be published in the University of Delhi Website toward June-end 2019 .
The Candidates declared on the Merit List of LL.B. / LL.M. Entrance Test 2019 shall be called to appear in Counseling for Verification of the Documents leading to Allotment of the Seats in the 03-Years’ Bachelor of Legislative Laws and 02-Years’ Master of Legislative Laws Course under Post Graduate Courses.
The Bachelor of Legislative Laws (LL.B.) in University of Delhi is a Three Year Post-Graduate Program. Admission into Bachelor of Legislative Laws Program is offered Strictly on the basis of the Merit in the Entrance Examination conducted by University of Delhi.
Admissions into Master of Legislative Laws / Master of Laws (Two-Years’ and Three Year Programs) are conducted strictly on the basis of Merit in the LL.M. Entrance Test. Not more than 10 Foreign Nationals are admitted into the Master of Comparative Laws (M.C.L.), which is a Two-Year Full Time Course. The Faculty of Law has been admitting and receiving Students for Bachelor of Legislative Laws (LL.B.), Master of Comparative Laws (M.C.L.) and Philosophiae Doctor (Ph.D.) Programmes from many countries.
Procedure for LL.B. Admissions:
Admission into 1st Year of 03-Years’ Bachelor of Legislative Laws (LL.B.) Course shall be granted on the basis of Merit in the LL.B. Entrance Test 2019 comprising 100 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective Type for 400 Marks conducted by University of Delhi.
Admission into Previous Year of Master of Legislative Laws (LL.M.) Course shall be conducted based on Merit in the LL.M. Entrance Test 2019 comprising 100 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective Type for 400 Marks. There shall be an Entrance Test for LL.M. The Date for LL.M. Entrance Test shall be notified on the University Website later by the Central Admission Committee of the University of Delhi.
Methodology for TIE-Resolving for Admission:
In case of TIE arisen due to Equal Marks obtained in the LL.B. Entrance Test / LL.M. Entrance Test:
If there are more Candidates with the Similar Marks / Rank in the LL.B. / LL.M. Entrance Test 2015, then the Number of the Seats Available, Admission will be offered as per the following Rules:
- The Candidate(s) securing Higher Marks in the Qualifying Degree Examination shall be offered Admission;
- If Two or more Candidates have obtained Equal Marks in the Qualifying Degree Examination, the Candidates Senior / Older in Age will be offered Admission;
- If Admission cannot be made under the above Rules, the Admission will be made by draw of Lots from amongst the Candidate(s) covered above, who would remain present at the time of the Draw of Lots.
