Briefly state with reference to Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) – 01/2019 in the subsequent Paragraphs. Taking cognizance of Based on the Indian Air Force’s (IAF’s) upcoming Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) – I detailed Notification in regard to which is likely to be released on 01st December 2018 for commissioning into Flying Branch / Technical / Ground Branches and the Air Force Common Admission Test & Engineering Knowledge Test (I) 2019 may be conducted in soon, we look forward to the Indian Air Force. Last Date of Form Submission is 30th Dec 2018.
The Air Force Common Admission Test & Engineering Knowledge Test (I) 2019 is likely to be hosted shortly. and we furnish the inputs in respect thereof as here under: The Indian Air Force (IAF) shall intimate mail Cal-up Letter via the Candidates’ Registered email Id Two Weeks prior to commencement of the Air Force Common Admission Test & Engineering Knowledge Test (I) 2019 in Computer Based Online Test. Indian Air Force is all set to release the AFCAT-01/2019 notification from 01st December 2018 and application form can submitted till 30th December 2018.
Age Limit (As on 01 January 2019)
- Flying Branch: Candidate age should be lie between 20 Years to 24 years (both dates inclusive) i.e born betweeen 02 January 1994 to 01 January 2000 (both dates inclusive).
- Ground Duty (Technical / Non Technical Branch): Applicant age should be lie between 20 Years to 26 years (both dates inclusive) i.e born between 02 January 1992 to 01 January 2000 (both dates inclusive).
The Objective Written Test shall consist of the (i) Verbal Ability, (ii) Numerical Ability, (iii) Reasoning, General Awareness And (iv) Military Aptitude followed by other Stages of the Test for induction of the Candidates on the Merit List into

The Indian Air Force, on the basis of the candidates’ performance and marks scored by them in the Air Force Common Admission Test & Engineering Knowledge Test (I), 2019, shall shortlist them for the ensuing States as detailed in the subsequent Table.
We would display on our Website the Indian Air Force notified Schedule for the SSB Interviews for the candidates shortlisted for the same.

The Candidates Finally Selected shall be assigned the Rank of the Commissioned Officers (Permanent Commission / Short Service Commission).
The Indian Air Force shall draw an All India Merit List based on the performance of the candidates in the Air Force Common Admission Test & Engineering Knowledge Test and all other stages of Test as set by the Indian Air Force. The candidates high on Merit would be selected finally for induction into Flying Branch / Technical Branch / Ground Branch.

AFCAT 1 2019 Admit Card
Shortlisting of the Candidate’s Application:
Shortlisting shall be on the based on Higher Percentage of the Marks secured by the Candidates in the Qualifying Examination (60% or higher), which might be raised in case of the Applications from the Candidates with even higher Marks were received. Such shortlisted Candidates shall be summoned for Aptitude Test (in English medium). The Preliminary Test shall consist of Mental Ability Test / Cognitive Aptitude Test and Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PP&DT).
|Stage II||Final Selection: The Candidates qualifying the above Preliminary Selection shall be called for Final Selection. The Date and Venue for the Final Selection Board (FSB) will be uploaded on Indian Coast Guard Website. The Final Selection will consist of Psychological Test (PT), Group Task (GT) and Personal Interview (Personality Test).|
|Phase I||would comprise Intelligence Test, Picture Perception and Discussion Test|
|The Candidates declared QUALIFIED in Phase I shall be allowed to appear in Phase II. The candidates declared NOT QUALIFIED in the Phase I would be sent back.|
|Phase II||shall comprise Psychological Testing, Group Testing and Interview. The Test shall be held over Four (04) days.
The Successful candidates shall be put to Medical Examination that would be held during 03 – 05 Days.
