The Ministry of Home Affairs’ has Notified with reference to the Recruitment to Deputy Central Intelligence Officer (DCIO)/Executive and Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO)/Executive Against Total 104 posts in the subsequent Paragraphs apply from the date of advertisement up to 60 days.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has released the Recruitment Detailed Notification along with Online Applications form process for the said posts in IB. The Recruitment of Assistant Centeral Intelligence Officer (ACIO) / Executive and Deputy Central Intelligence Officer (DCIO) / Executive in Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India is briefly stated hereunder, Aspirants should go through the detailed info before apply for the post.

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit (As On the Cut-off Date):

Un-Reserved Candidate should have attained Minimum 21 Years but must not exceed Maximum 27 Years of Age.

Relaxation in Upper Age Limits for the Reserved Categories.

IB Deputy /Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (DCIO/ ACIO) Application Form 2018

Educational Qualification:

JIO: Deputation/Absorption
Officers of the Central Government or State Governments:
(a) (i) holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department; or
(ii) Officials from amongst other cadres of Intelligence Bureau and having put up a minimum
of two years’ service in the grade; and
(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications;-
Higher Secondary (12th) with Mathematics and Physics with two years Industrial Training Course
from a recognized Institute in Radio Technician, Electronics, Electronics and Communication.
Desirable Skills :
(i) Handling/maintenance of HF/VHF Comm. Sets.

DCIO (Tech-Telephone):

Eligibility : Deputation (including short term contract)
Officers of the Central Govt. or State Government or Union Territories or Public Sector
Undertakings or Recognized Research Institutions or Universities or Semi-Govt.
Organizations or Autonomous bodies or Statutory Organizations :
(a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; or

Detailed Notification

Selection Criteria:

Strictly in order of Merit. Ministry of Home Affairs based on the Candidates’ individual Performance and Sufficiently High Marks both in the Written Examination and Personal Interview / Viva-voce. (for more info candidates should take reference from detailed Advertisement).

Procedure for Selection:

The Selection to the Ministry of Home Affairs notified Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) – Grade II / Executives, General Central Service, Group – C (Non-Gazetted / Non-Ministerial) in Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India shall consist of Optical Mark Recognition Based Written Test comprising Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions AND Personal Interview / Viva-voce.

There may be Computer Based Online Test / an Optical Mark Recognition Based Written Examination of 100 Minutes comprising the Multiple Choice Questions of Objective Type as stated in the Latter Part.
