Indian Bank Probationary Officer Main Examination Result 2018
The Indian Bank may likely announce in the Third Week of November 2018 the Result of Indian Bank Probationary Officer Main Online Examination 2018. The Indian Bank has conducted the PO Main Online Examination 2018 aimed at Shortlisting the Candidates for Personal Interview.
The Main Online Examination for Probationary Officer in Indian Bank consists of 02 Parts where Part I comprising 155 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective Type carries Maximum 200 Marks and Part B (Descriptive Test) in English Language comprising Letter and Essay Writing for 25 Marks Totaling 225 Marks.
The Candidates declared Successful in the Main Examination will be called for Personal Interview. The Indian Bank shall publish in the Website the Result of Probationary Officer Main Examination 2018.
IB PO Main Examination – Minimum Qualifying Standards
The Candidates shall have to secure the Minimum Qualifying Marks in each Section of the Main Online Examination to be considered Eligible and Shortlisted for Personal Interview for 100 Marks. Indian Bank, at its discretion, shall determine the Minimum Qualifying Standards / Minimum Qualifying Marks to be obtained by the Candidates in each Section and Sufficient High Marks in Aggregate of the Main Online Examination and Descriptive Test where the Conventional Test remains Qualifying in Nature. The Indian Bank shall apply Equi-Percentile Method for determining the Minimum Qualifying Marks and Final Scores as well as Minimum Qualifying Marks to be scored in the each Section and in Aggregate of the Main Online Examination.
Note Bene: Scores
- The Final Scores obtained by each of the Candidates in Different Sessions (if held) will be Normalized using Equi-Percentile Method.
- Scores up to Two Decimal Points shall be taken for the purpose of Calculations.
Indian Bank PO Main Examination – Procedure for Selection
Selection of the Candidates for Admission into the One Year’s Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) course at Indian Bank Manipal School of Banking (IBMSB), which has been set up Jointly by the Indian Bank and Manipal Global Education Service Private Limited.
Final Selection for Admission into the Indian Bank’s Post Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance shall be strictly based on the Final Merit List drawn up taking into consideration by determining the Weight age 80:20, i.e., 80% Weight age for Main Examination and 20% Weight age for Personal Interview.
The Candidates securing the Minimum Qualifying Marks (40% Marks for Un-Reserved and 35% Marks for the Reserved Category Candidates in Personal Interview weighing 100 Marks, fulfilling the Minimum Qualifying Standards shall be considered Finally Eligible for Selection toward Admission
