With reference to The Office of Registrar, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, issuing towards April-end 2019 Notice in respect of Admission in i) Master in Business Administration (MBA) General, ii) Master in Business Administration (MBA) Health / Hospital Management, iii) Master in Business Administration (MBA) Pharmaceutical Management and iv) Master in Business Administration (MBA) Insurance and Information Brochure 2019 and the Brief in respect of Eligibility and the Procedure for Selection among others is mentioned in the Tabular Format under each Post Graduate Courses:

The Applicants meeting with the Eligibility and Other Criteria may Apply Online following the Instructions in the Information Brochure and Admission Notification.

Procedure for Admission-

Selection for Allotment of the Seat / Admission into the Courses i) Master in Business Administration (MBA) General, ii) Master in Business Administration (MBA) Health / Hospital Management,  iii) Master in Business Administration (MBA) Pharmaceutical Management and iv) Master in Business Administration (MBA) Insurance shall be as follows:

  • All the Candidates, desirous of Admission into the Master in Business Administration Program shall need apply to Jamia Hamdard on its Prescribed Admission Form and include the Management Aptitude Test Score Card along with the Form.
  • Admission into the Master in Business Administration Program will be conducted on the basis of the Merit determined by the Score of the Prescribed Tests specified hereinabove.

The Shortlisted Candidates would be called to appear for the Group Discussion and Interview in its Campus in New Delhi. Dates for the Group Discussion / Interview will be communicated to the Candidates Shortlisted and also on the University Website.

ii) Master in Business Administration (MBA) Health / Hospital Management

iii) Master in Business Administration (MBA) Pharmaceutical Management

iv) Master in Business Administration (MBA) Insurance

Master in Business Administration (MBA)

Eligibility:

i)         Bachelor’s Degree in any Discipline with Minimum 50% Aggregate Marks Core Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) 05 out of 10 Point Scale.

ii)       Appeared in Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) / Management Aptitude Test (MAT) / Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) / Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) / Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) / Association of Indian Management Schools Test for Management Admissions (ATMA).

Nota Bene:

Those with 02-Years’ Work Experience / Teaching; Foreign / Non-Resident Indian (NRI) / Sponsored Candidates remain Exempted from the Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) / Management Aptitude Test (MAT) / Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) / Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) / Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) / Association of Indian Management Schools Test for Management Admissions (ATMA).

Admission of such Candidates will be based on Group Discussion (GD) followed by Personal Interview (PI).

Selection Process:

On the basis of Qualified Common Management Aptitude Test (up to January 2019) / Management Aptitude Test (up to May 2019) / Graduate Management Admission Test (up to – 2019) / Xavier Aptitude Test (up to January 2019) / Common Admission Test / Association of Indian Management Schools Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) Examination Scores or any other Examination approved by the University.

The Shortlisted Candidates will be called for appearing in Group Discussion (GD) / Personal Interview (PI) in Jamia Hamdard Campus. The Candidates shall need to Clearly write the Application Form Number / Roll Number of Jamia Hamdard on the back of the Score Card.

The Admission will be conducted on the basis of Overall Merit Determined by the University.

For Non-Resident Indian (NRI) / Sponsored Seats: Common Management Aptitude Test / Management Aptitude Test / Graduate Management Admission Test / Xavier Aptitude Test / Common Admission Test / Association of Indian Management Schools Test for Management Admissions Scores are not required.

Master in Business Administration (MBA) (Health / Hospital Management)

Eligibility:

Bachelor’s Degree in any Discipline with Minimum 50% Aggregate Marks or Core Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) 05 on a 10 Point Scale.

Selection Procedure:

On the basis of Qualified Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) (up to January 2019) / Management Aptitude Test (MAT) (up to May 2019) / Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) (up to 2019) / Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) (up to January – 2019) / Common Admission Test (CAT) / Association of Indian Management Schools Test (ATMA) the Examination Scores or any other Examination Approved by the University.

Master in Business Administration (MBA) (Pharmaceutical Management)

Eligibility:

Bachelor’s Degree in any Discipline with Minimum 50% Aggregate Marks or Core Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) 05 on a 10 Point Scale.

Exemption:

The Candidates with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) / Bachelor of Unani Medicine & Surgery (BUMS) / Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) / Bachelor of Physio-Therapy (BPT) / BOT / Bachelor of Pharmacy  (B.Pharm.) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) (Bio-Tech) / Master of Science (M.Sc.) (Bio-Tech) / Master of Science (M.Sc.) (Bio-Chem) / Master of Science (M.Sc.) (Chem) remain Exempted from Management Aptitude Test (MAT) and other Competitive Examinations. Mid-Career Professionals with 02- Years’ Experience also remain Exempted from these Tests. They will be directly called for appearing in Group Discussion (GD) /Personal Interview.
