KEA KARNATAKA PGCET Result 2018, Expected Cut Off marks / Counseling:
We hereby state in respect of Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) PGCET Results 2018, The Examination Authority is set to notify Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 14th & 15th July 2018 atest information/ updates as mentioned in the subsequent Paragraphs and Tabular Format.
Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) shall release soon Days after the completion of the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test) the Test Question Booklet Optical Mark Recognition Based Answer Key on the Official Website. The Candidates / Parents / Lecturers, may file their respective Objections, if any, within Three Days in respect of any of the Test Question Booklet Answer Key published, together with all the Supporting Documents & Justification. Objections filed by the candidates without justification shall not be considered. Objections received after the last date fixed shall not be considered. Objections received by the Karnataka Examinations Authority will be placed before an Expert Committee, whose decision will be final in this regard.
KEA PG Common Entrance Test 2018 Result:
Karnataka Examinations Authority shall announce the Result for the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test 14th & 15th July 2018 only after publishing the Test Question Booklet Final Answers Key. Only Candidates on the Final Select List drawn up in order of Merit and the Admission Criteria would be summoned for Counseling for the purpose of Verification of the Documents

Karnataka Examinations Authority Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (KEA PGCET) 2018:

(i.e., he / she should have obtained 50% of Aggregate Minimum Marks taken together in all the Subjects for all the years of the Degree Examination. 45% of Aggregate Marks in all the Subjects for all the Years in the Degree Examination in case of the Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Category – I. Further, only the Candidates of Karnataka Origin will be Eligible to claim Reservation). Therefore, mere Assignment of Merit / a Rank to any Candidate does not confer any right to select a Seat.||The Merit List will be prepared separately for Master in Business Administration (M.B.A.), Master in Computer Applications (M.C.A.), Master of Engineering (M.Engg.) / Master of Technology (M.Tech) / Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) solely on the basis of the Marks obtained in the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test without taking the Marks obtained by the Candidates in the Qualifying Examination.

Procedure for Admission:
All the Candidates (GM, SC, ST Category – I and OBC Category Candidates) must compulsorily submit the STUDY CERTIFICATE obtained from the Heads of the Institutions where the Candidates have passed the Matriculation (10th Standard) / Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination (SSLCE) / Pre-University Certificate (PUC) / Bachelor’s Degree Examination, by mentioning the Standards, Academic Years as per the Admission Register of the Institution. (Refer Appendix for Study Certificate Proforma).
The Candidates belonging to Reserved Categories should submit Caste / Income Certificate as the case may be, issued by the Tehsildar in Form ‘D’ for SC, ST, in Form ‘E’ for Category-I and in Form ‘F’ for 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B Categories.
Karnataka Examinations Authority will publish on its Website all the details of the Candidates, who have selected the Seats under Reserved Category for Master in Business Administration (M.B.A.), Master in Computer Applications (M.C.A.), Master of Engineering (M.Engg.) / Master of Technology (M.Tech.) / Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) Courses, such as, the Candidate’s Name, Father’s Name, Category under which a Seat selected, Annual Income of the Parent, etc., after the Last Round.
If any Candidate does not surrender the Seat to Karnataka Examinations Authority during Casual Vacancy Seat Selection Round on or before his / her turn comes, then he / she deemed to have got admitted in to the Seat selected by him / her.
If any Candidate decides to surrender his / her Seat, then he / she has to surrender the Seat only to Karnataka Examinations Authority. Merely not reporting to the Admission Committee / Department / Faculty concerned at the Selected College should not be presumed by the Candidate that he / she has surrendered the seat to Karnataka Examinations Authority.
