Karnataka Public Service Commission in respect of Group ‘C’ Non-Technical Posts involving First Alerts on KPSC Group ‘C’ OMR Based TQB Answers Key, Expected Cut-Off Marks / Community-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks, Results for the Computer Based Online Test, e-Call Letters for Personal Interview, Final Results, Select List among       

KPSC Group C Answer Key 13.10.2017

We look forward to Karnataka Public Service Commission to release within 24 Hours Set wise Provisional Answers Key in Set A, Set B, Set C, Set D for the Test Question Booklet for the Group ‘C’ Non-Technical Posts Examination 2017 being conducted on the 13th of Oct 2017 (13.10.2017). 

Karnataka Public Service Commission shall announce the Result for the Optical Mark Recognition Based Screening Test / Computer Based Test for the Group ‘C’ Non-Technical Post 2017.  Even as Karnataka Public Service Commission will declare the Result for the Computer Based Recruitment Test on the Official Website, First Alert on Karnataka PSC declared Result shall also be concurrently displayed on our Website as well.

Karnataka Public Service Commission shall determine the Category-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks while announcing the Results.  However, only Candidates having secured Minimum Qualifying Marks in each Test and Minimum Common Aggregate Marks shall be summoned for Personal Interview / Viva-voce.

KPSC Group ‘C’ Non-Technical  Ques Paper 2017

Karnataka Public Service Commission shall upload the e-Call Letters for the Candidates First Alerts on KPSC announced Results for the Computer Based Online Test and Schedule for Personal Interview / Viva-voce shall Downloading of the electronic Call Letters and Interview Schedule will be displayed on our Website for the ready reference of the KPSC Group ‘C’ Non-Technical Recruitment Test 2017 Examinees  

Procedure for Selection:

  1. Computer Based Online Recruitment Test
  2. Provisional Merit List Preparation
  3. Personal Interview / Viva-voce (Oral Test) for Verification of the Documents
  4. Result, Final Select List drawn up in order of Merit.   

KPSC Group C Non Technical Expected Cut Off 2017

Consisting of Two Papers (i.e., Paper I of 1½ Hours and Paper II of 02-Hours) comprising Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions. .

Test Maximum Marks Procedure for Selection
Paper I:

General Knowledge

200 Computer Based Online Test Viva-voce for Verification of the Documents

KPSC shall announce the Result based on the Candidates’ individual Performance and the Community-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks as determined for the Candidates, while preparing the Result.  However, Final Select List in concurrence with Announcement of the Result shall be prepared in order of Merit by Karnataka Public Service Commission.

Paper II: Communication:

(a) General Kannada         (35 Marks)

(b) General English            (35 Marks)

(c) Computer knowledge    (30 Marks)




 Total 400

Methodology for Recruitment:

A) In respect of Non-Technical Posts:

i) Karnataka Public Service Commission shall conduct a Competitive Written Examination in the following manner, viz;

a) The Competitive Written Examination to be conducted shall comprise Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions consisting of Two Written Papers carrying Maximum 200 Marks each; viz.,

Paper-I: General Paper: Covering General Knowledge of Topic relating to Current Events, General Sciences and Matters of Every Day Observation and Practical Knowledge as may be expected of the Candidate  who has passed the prescribed Qualifying Examination.

Paper-II: Specific Paper: The Content of this Paper shall be determined by the Commission keeping in view the nature of the Job for which the Selection is being made and the   Qualifying Examination in consultation with the head of the Field Department or the Appointing Authority concerned.

b) The papers shall be set in both Kannada and English. The Candidate may answer the Papers either wholly in Kannada or in English but not in both.

TIE Resolving:

Provided that if Two or more Candidates have secured Equal Marks in the Competitive Written Examination, the order of Merit of such Candidates shall be fixed on the basis of their respective Age, the Person older in Age being placed Higher in the order of the Merit.

ii) A List of Candidates shall be prepared in the order of Merit determined on the basis of the Percentage of the Total Marks secured by the Candidates in the above Competitive Written Examination.

iii) Subject to Reservation Policy of the State from among the Candidate whose Names are included in such List, such number of the Candidates as is Equal to Five Times the number of the Vacancies notified, shall be called for the Interview.

iv) The Maximum Marks for Interview shall be 12.5% of the Total Marks prescribed for the Competitive Examination.

Personal Interview:

Karnataka Public Service Commission shall Conduct Interview of the Eligible Candidates and award the Marks based on the Performance of the Candidates in the Interview and the Marks so awarded shall be published on the Notice Board of its Office on the day on which interview is held or on the day following but before commencement of the Interview on that day, a List of the Marks obtained by each Candidate in the said Personal Interview.

Provided that where the Interview is held in any place other than the place of its Office, the said List shall be published in such other places also.

Final Selection List of the Candidates:

In respect of the Non-Technical Posts: Karnataka Public Service Commission shall prepare a Final Select List of figuring the Candidates Eligible for Appointment on the basis of the Merit determined on the basis of Percentage of the Total Marks secured in the Competitive Written Examination and the Marks Secured in the Interview and taking into Consideration the Reservation Policy of the State.
