Maharashtra Public Service Commission is likely to state in reference to Civil Judge (Junior Division) & Judicial Magistrate (First Class) Main Examination 2018 in the subsequent Paragraphs. In view of the Civil Judge (Junior Division) and Judicial Magistrate (First Class) Main Examination – 2018  (सिविल जज (जूनियर डिवीजन) एवं न्यायिक मजिस्ट्रेट (प्रथम श्रेणी) परीक्षा, 2018, we do look forward to Maharashtra Public Service Commission to release soon Official Notification in respect of Recruitment to the Posts of Civil Judge (Junior Division) (दीवानी न्यायाधीश) (अवर विभाग / कनिष्ठ विभाग) and Judicial Magistrate (First Class) (न्यायिक दण्डाधिकारी) (प्रथम श्रेणी) 2018.

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit (As On 01.07.2018):

General Candidates:  Minimum 21 Years and Maximum 25 Years.

Relaxation in Upper Age Limits for the Reserved Candidates.

Educational Qualification:

Degree in Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) / Master of Laws (LL.M.) with 55% from any University recognized by the Central Government / State Government.

Exam Scheme/ Selection Criteria:

Maharashtra Public Service Commission may conduct the Preliminary Test (carrying Maximum 100 Marks) soon and Main Examination (carrying Maximum 200 Marks) at the quickest possible Followed by Personal Interview / Personality Test (Maximum 50 Marks)

    THANK YOU SO MUCH BUT PLEASE LET ME KNOW PRELIMS FOR CIVIL JUDGE (JUNIOR DIVISION) AND JUDICIAL MAGISTRATE FIRST CLASS IS SURELY GOING TO BE HELD ON 21ST MAY 2017….ONLINE IT IS SHOWING 21 ST MAY AND ANY KIND OF COACHING/TRAINING IS NECESSARY FOR PRELIMS EXAM…..I KNOW A PERSON SHOULD BE WELL VERSED IN MARATHI LANGUAGE AS IT IS THE STATE LANGUAGE OF MAHARASHTRA BUT FOR PRELIMS MARATHI IS NECESSARY AS I WILL BE WRITING IN ENGLISH… AND PRELIMS IS OBJECTIVE QUESTION PAPER ….

    Hello Alkaji,

    A person must be well versed in Marathi language for Civil Judge (JD) and JMFC post in Maharashtra.

    Notification for Civil Judge (JD) and JMFC has not been published for 2017 till now.
