Through All India Counseling & State/ UT wise Counseling respectively Admissions to the NEET Applicants shall be provided on Merit & Reservation basis. Important Points to Remember-
- 15% All India Quota seats in Government medical and dental colleges whereas 85% State quota seats will be filled through NEET Score of candidates in Medical/ Dental Colleges across the Country.
- 85% state quota seats for MBBS and BDS admissions in all states and UTs of India shall be filled under the supervisions of State/UT Medical Councils through Counseling process
- MBBS and BDS seats in Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune,
While Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct NEET 2018, the admission to 15% All India Quota seats in government medical and dental colleges will be filled by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) through online counselling. Similarly, admission in 85% State Quota seats in government medical and dental colleges will be filled by the Directorate of Medical Education of the respective states. Further, counselling to MBBS and BDS seats in private and deemed medical universities including central universities and minority institutions will also be done under the aegis of the Directorate of Medical Education on the basis of the NEET merit list 2018.
NEET Expected Cut off 2018
NEET Cutoff can be distinguished as Minimum qualifying Marks for admissions cum Eligibility for Counseling. The NEET 2018 Cut off Marks Category wise will be required for candidates to secure for being Eligible for State Level Quota Seats (85% Seats) Counseling in Medical & Dental colleges in particular State/UT. The Admission Cut Off of NEET 2018 is different as it is the minimum score that is determined to screen the admissions on State quota medical seats offered by the State govt/ State Pvt colleges under NEET.

- Admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in Private Medical Colleges shall be subject to policies of the Government of India/State/Union Territory.
- Admission to AFMC, Pune shall be subject to the norms prescribed by the Directorate General of Armed Forces Medical Services, Ministry of Defence and Government of India. Candidates who apply for NEET (UG) –2018 and also seeking admission in AFMC will also have to apply to AFMC on www.afmc.nic.in / www.afmcdg1d.gov.in.
The short listed candidates will be required to appear for a second stage Screening Test conducted by AFMC. Candidates are advised to contact AFMC for further and exact details.
NEET 2018 MBBS/ BDS Counseling State wise Seat Allotment
The Conducting Authorities under State Medical Councils will release the Merit lists/ Cut off Lists of candidates against Other than 15% Seats (State Quota) at the website portal after the submission of Counseling forms from securing More than Cut off Marks (Eligible for Counseling/Admissions at State Level Medical/ Dental Colleges).
Candidates who appeared in NEET 2018 Exam must have to secure atleast Cut off Marks (Required for State Quota Merit List) decided by MCI tentatively.
NEET 2018 State Quota Seat Counseling:
Candidates further will allowed to fill the Counseling Forms for Seat allotment on state level quota seats (85%) for admissions in State Medical/ Dental Colleges. Through Counseling/ Merit lists eligible applicants on Merit/ Reservation basis will be provided the Admissions Seats in the Medical/ Dental Colleges in the State.
