The Optical Mark Recognition Based Written Examination for the Recruitment to the Posts of Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Engineer – Electrical) schedule soon due to Administrative Reasons. New Date for the Optical Mark Recognition Based Written Test will be declared later on.

In view of the post-declaration of the Result of the Optical Mark Recognition Based Written Test consisting of Knowledge of Electrical Equipments Test, Physical Fitness Test and Written Test held shortly of Ex-Apprentice Lineman for the Posts of Vidyut Sahayak (Electrical Assistant) as well as Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Assistant) held shortly, we look forward to Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited to proceed as cited in the succeeding Paragraphs.

PGVCL Junior Assistant e-Call Letters for Interview 2018

Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited, based on Minimum Qualifying Marks / Minimum Cut-Off Marks for the Examinees to shortlist for Personal Interview / Viva-voce, shall summon only such Candidates for Personal Interview / Viva-voce for Verification of the Documents. Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited shall shortly release / issue electronic Call Letters to the Candidates.

That the Candidates SHORTLISTED as per the Minimum Passing Marks / Minimum Percentage of Marks, would be summoned for Personal Interview / Viva-voce those who may have obtained either Equal to or Higher than the Minimum Standard of Marks.

Criteria for Selection:

Only those Candidates who may have secured Maximum Qualifying Marks / Sufficient High Marks IN AGGREGATE both in the Optical Mark Recognition Based Written Test and Viva-voce / Personal Interview would be recommended for Final Recommendation.   

Procedure for Selection:

The Candidates will be shortlisted for an Optical Mark Recognition Based Written Test / Personal Interview on the basis of their Online Applications only and they have to submit the Authentic Photocopies of all the Relevant Certificates / Documents and subsequently the Original Certificates / Documents for Verification as mentioned in Point.

The Post of Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Assistant) requires Field Work. Hence, the Selected Candidates shall have to carry out various Field Activities like Meter Reading / Billing / Cash Collection and other tasks allotted without Gender Bias.

Recruitment to the Posts of Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Assistants) out Vacancies are earmarked for Women.
