Team would briefly state with reference to the Staff Selection Commission notified All India Competitive Examination Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination 2018 for Recruitment of Postal Assistants / Sorting Assistants (PA/SA), Data Entry Operators (DEOs), Lower Divisional Clerks (LDCs) and Court Clerks (CCs) in the Later Part.

SSC The Staff Selection Commission shall host soon All India Competitive Examination Tier II of the Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination 2018 for 100 Marks

As many as  Candidates declared as Shortlisted in Tier I in Tier-I of the Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination 2018 will appear in Tier II of the Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination 2018. The Staff Selection Commission shall conduct Region-wise the Descriptive Paper (Tier-II) of Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination 2018 carrying Maximum 100 Marks.

We look forward to the Staff Selection Commission to declare shortly the Results for Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination (Tier II).  The Candidates declared Successful on Merit in the Descriptive Test will be summoned to appear for Computer Based Typing Test / Skill Test for the Post of Data Entry Operator (DEO), Postal Assistant & Sorting Assistant (PA/SA), Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Court Clerk (CC).

Procedure for Selection:

Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination – 2018 consists of 03 Tiers, i.e., Tier I, Tier II & Tier III.

Tier Maximum Marks
Tier – I in Computer Based Online Test Format consisting of the 100 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions for 200
   
Tier – II consisting of a Conventional Type Descriptive Test  carrying   100
   
Tier – III comprising Computer Based Typing Test / Skill Test for the Post of Data Entry Operator (DEO), Postal Assistant & Sorting Assistant (PA/SA), Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Court Clerk (CC) Qualifying Nature
   

Preference for Ministry / Department / Office will be taken from the Candidates qualified for the Skill Test / Typing Test at the time of Skill Test / Computer Based Typing Test.

Resolution of TIE Cases:

In case where more than one Candidate secures the Equal Aggregates Marks, tie will be resolved by applying the following methods one after another:

i) Marks in First Part of the Computer Based Written Examination.

ii) Date of Birth, with the older candidates placed higher.

iii) Alphabetical Order in which First Names of the Candidates appear.

Mode of Selection:

The Candidates will be shortlisted for Tier-III Examination on the basis of their individual Performance in the Computer Based Written Examination (Tier-I) carrying Maximum 200 Marks and Descriptive Examination (Tier-II) for 100 Marks. The Candidates who qualify in the Skill Test / Typing Test (Tier-III) of only Qualifying nature will be recommended for Appointment by the Commission on the basis of their respective Performance in the Computer based Written Examination (Tier-I) and Descriptive Paper (Tier-II).

Allocation of the Candidates will be made to User Departments depending upon their individual Merit Positions and the Option exercised by them. Provided that Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Physically Challenged (PC) / Physically Handicapped (PH) Candidates, who are selected on their own Merit without relaxed Standards, with the Candidates belonging to other Communities,

The Data submitted by the Candidates who qualify for the Skill Test, in their Application Form, will be verified with the Documents submitted before the Skill Test. Selection will be based on this verified Data.

Allocation of the Candidates will be made to User Departments depending upon their individual Merit Positions and the Option exercised by them.
