Takes cognizance of the Recruitment to the Post of Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff in Different States and Union Territories Examination 2016 and the Optical Mark Recognition Based Written Test already held on the 16th, 30th of April 2017 and the last leg of the All India Competitive Written Examination scheduled to be hosted on the 7th of May 2017 and Part II followed by Conventional Type later and would like to briefly state in the subsequent Paragraphs:

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) shall release within 07 Days Provisional Answers Key in Set A, Set B, Set C & Set D (in Portable Document Format File) for the Test Question Booklet forming part of the Recruitment to the Posts of Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff in Different States and Union Territories Examination 2017 held in both Forenoon Session & Evening Shift.      

The Staff Selection Commission notified Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination 2016 has already been held on the 16th and 30th of April 2017 and the Remaining Scheduled to be conducted on the 7th of May 2017 respectively in both-Morning Shift and Afternoon / Evening Session.

SSC Multi Tasking Staff Paper Expected Cut Off 2017

In view of the Commission notified All India Competitive Examination Paper I of the Recruitment to the Posts of Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff in Different States & UTs Examination 2017 with Negative Marking of ¼th (0.25) Marks concluding on the 7th of May 2017, we anticipate the Staff Selection Commission, Controller of Examinations to declare the Expected Cut-Off Marks / Minimum Percentile Marks in conjunction with Announcement of the Result likely in July / August 2017.

The Staff Selection Commission shall declare the Result for Paper I subsequent to publishing / uploading the Final Answers Key in Set A / Set B / Set C / Set D in PDF File, hence, Community-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks shall also be declare then and there.

The Staff Selection Commission, at its discretion, would determine / fix the Cut-offs in Paper-I and Minimum Qualifying Marks in Paper-II might be different for the Vacancies in each State / Union Territory. The Candidates for each State / Union Territory will be finally selected based on their individual Performance in Paper-I, subject to their meeting basic Qualifying Standards fixed in Paper-II.

The Candidates shall have to obtain Minimum Qualifying Marks in each Part and Sufficient Marks in Aggregate to be considered Provisionally Merit listed / Shortlisted for Selection to Recruitment to the Posts of Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff in Different States & UTs Examination 2017.

There will be Negative Marking of ¼th (0.25) Marks for each Wrong Answer submitted by the Examinees.

The Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions.

Paper-II will be of Descriptive nature where the candidate will have to write short Essay / Letter in English or any Language included in the 8th Schedule of the Constitution.

Paper-II will only be of Qualifying Nature that is aimed at testing the Elementary Language Skills in view of the categorization of the Post as Group-C and in view of job requirements.

The Commission shall hold Paper-II for those candidates who shall be meeting with the Cut-Off prescribed by the Commission in Paper-I for different Categories. We would intimate the exact Date followed by the Staff Selection Commission’s Announcement.

SSC Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff 2017 Merit List

The Staff Selection Commission would shortlist the Candidates for the Paper-II based on their respective performance in Paper-I. Paper-II will only of Qualifying Nature.

The Cut-offs in Paper-I and Qualifying Marks in Paper-II may be different for Vacancies in each State / UT will be fixed at the discretion of the Commission. The Candidates for each State / UTs will be finally selected on the basis of their individual Performance in Paper-I, subject to their meeting with the Basic Qualifying Standards fixed in Paper – II.

Mode of Selection:

The Staff Selection Commission has prescribed the following Methodology of preparing the Merit List as follows:

The Candidates will be shortlisted for the Paper-II on the basis of their performance in Paper-I. Paper-II will only of qualifying nature.

The Staff Selection Commission, at its discretion, would determine / fix the Cut-offs in Paper-I and Minimum Qualifying Marks in Paper-II might be different for the Vacancies in each State / Union Territory. The Candidates for each State / Union Territory will be finally selected based on their individual Performance in Paper-I, subject to their meeting basic Qualifying Standards fixed in Paper-II.

The Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Classes and Physical Challenged Candidates selected on their own Merit without relaxed Standards, will not be adjusted against the reserved share of vacancies.

Physically Handicapped (Orthopedically Challenged / Visually Impaired) Category candidate who qualifies on the basis of relaxed Standards is to be counted against reserved Vacancies and not against General Vacancies subject to Fitness of such Candidate for selection.
