SSC Stenographer Notification 2018, Upcoming Vacancies ~ Online Reg Form, Syllabus, Ques Papers:
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is likely to release the employment notification concerning with the Stenographers (Grade C & D) Examination, 2018 on the 07-07-2018 as Advertised in the SSC Exam Calendar 2018-2019. Staff selection commission is going to invite the applications (Either Online or Offline) from the eligible candidates to fill the required no of posts. Candidates meet the required eligibility may apply before 30th July 2018 against these posts on or before the last date of application submission. SSC Stenographer Examination 2018 online registration process will be started, apt candidates can apply at the official online portal website or can submit their application in the prescribed format before the registration closed.
SSC Stenographer Grade-C & D Notification 2018
SSC commission is all set to commence the registration process for the Stenographer (Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’), the registration can be made through the website of the commission i.e www.ssconline.nic.in Candidates having 12th Standard Certificate may apply for the Stenographer Recruitment Examination 2018 with the last date for 30-07-2018. The SSC Commission Will Conduct the OMR Based SSC Stenographer Grade-C & D CBE Exam on 4th September to 8th September 2018 (OMR) all over India.
STENOGRAPHERS (GRADE ‘C’ & ‘D’) EXAMINATION, 2018
- Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
- Age Limit:
Candidate’s age must lie between the age limit of 18-27 years as on 01.08.2018.
(Relaxation in age provided to the reserved category/ ESM/ PWD Candidates.)
SSC Stenographer Online Registration Form 2018
Applications must be submitted only in the prescribed format (Annexure) On-line or by Post. (Detailed instructions as in Annexure – II A or Annexure – II B), may be referred to for postal applications and on-line applications respectively. the last date of online application form is 30th July 2018.

Payment of application fee is exempted for all women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Persons with disability and Ex- servicemen eligible for reservation, as per Government orders.
The candidates submitting application offline (paper mode) should pay the fee of Rs 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) by means of “Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)”only

- Candidates will be required to transcribe their Shorthand Notes on Computer only provided by the Commission.
Stenographer Typing/ Shorthand Test:
|For General Candidates||· The candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English / Hindi at the speed of 100 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C
· The candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English / Hindi at the speed of 80 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’.
|For VH Candidates||· 75 minutes for English Shorthand or in 100 minutes for Hindi Shorthand for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’
· 70 minutes for English Shorthand test and in 95 minutes for Hindi Shorthand test for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’.
Mode of Selection:
Candidates will be shortlisted for the skill test on the basis of their performance in the Written Examination. Candidates who qualify in the skill test will be recommended for appointment by the Commission on the basis of their performance in the Written Examination. Allocation of candidates will be made to User Departments depending upon their merit position and the option exercised by them.
