TN TET 2018 notification | form | exam date | admit card@trb.tn.nic.in:

The Government of Tamil Nadu Teachers Board (TN TRB) will release the notification in the 1st week of April 2018 with the Registration for Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test 2018 w.e.f. with the Deadline for submission of the duly completed Application Forms closes at the quickest possible.

Tamil Nadu TN TET 2018 Notification

For Quicker Gen on Government of Tamil Nadu Teachers Board (GTN TRB) will notify through online notification regarding to the Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test (TN TET) 2018 with TQB Answers Key Dates, Announcement Date of TN TET Result (November 2018), Issuance of the Mark Sheet / Marks Statement, Certificate among others and would briefly state in the subsequent Paragraphs:

Eligibility Criteria:

For Class I-V Primary Stages For Class VI-VIII Elementary Stage
a)       The Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Course (10+2 Pattern) and Diploma in Teacher Education / Diploma in Elementary Education (Regarding the Candidates who have passed D.T.Ed., from States other than Tamil Nadu, their Certificate should be evaluated before Certificate Verification) from a Recognized Teacher Training Institute / DIET and seeking an Appointment as Secondary Grade Teacher for Classes I to V (except Visually Impaired Candidates) may write Paper I.

 

b)       The Candidates appearing for the Final Year Examination of Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) during the current Academic Year (2018 – 2019) are also permitted to appear for Paper I in the Teacher Eligibility Test. Such Candidates shall have to necessarily, successfully complete the Course in the current Academic Year (2018-2019) itself so as to furnish / produce D.El.Ed. Certificate during Certificate Verification (CV); otherwise, they shall not be considered for the current Year Government recruitment Process. However, they will be issued the TET Certificate after producing D.El.Ed. Diploma Certificate (DC).

c)  Visually Impaired Candidates are not Eligible to write Teachers Eligibility Test Paper I

 

The Candidates should possess the following Prescribed Qualifications to write the Teacher Eligibility Test Paper II:

 

a)       The Candidates who have passed a Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Litt.) in Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, History and Geography as major Subjects in their respective Degree Course or a Degree with any one of the Equivalent Subjects (regarding Equivalent Subjects, Government Orders issued prior to the Date of this Notification alone will be considered) from any Recognized University under 10+2+3 Pattern and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.) from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission and seeking an appointment as Graduate Teacher may write Paper II. The Candidates with B.Lit., (Tamil) Degree should possess either B.Ed. or D.T.Ed. or TPT.

b)       The Candidates appearing for the Final Year Examination of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) during the current Academic Year (2018 – 2019) are also permitted to appear for Paper II in Teacher Eligibility Test. Such Candidates should necessarily successfully complete the Course in the current Academic Year (2018-2019) itself and will have to submit / produce Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Certificate during Certificate Verification (CV); otherwise, they shall not be considered for the current Year Government recruitment Process. However, they would be issued the TET Certificate after submission (production) of the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed. Degree) Certificate.

TN TRB Teachers Eligibility Test e-Admit Cards 2018

The Government of Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board shall release the electronic Admit Cards latest soon for the Candidates appearing in the Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test 2018 scheduled to be conducted on 06.10.2018 & 07.10.2018 at the quickest possible.

The Candidates are advised to download their respective e-Hall Examination Tickets / Permission Letters / Call Letters for appearing in Primary Level Teachers Test – I and Upper Primary Level Teachers Test – II.

e-Hall Tickets shall be uploaded on the Official Website and TN TET 2018 e-Admission Certificates downloading would be available accordingly.

TN TRB TET Exam Pattern: 2018

TN Teachers Eligibility Test consisting of Paper I (Child Development & Pedagogy, Tamil, English, Mathematics as well as Environment Studies & Science) shall comprise the 150 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions.

TN Teachers Eligibility Test consisting of Paper II (Child Development & Pedagogy, Tamil, English, Mathematics & Science as well Social Science) shall comprise the 150 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective Type.

Advice:

Even though Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board has determined Minimum Qualifying Marks @ 60% for the Candidates belonging to General Category and 55% Marks for the Candidates belonging to the Reserved Categories; however, the Candidates with Higher up Marks in the TN TET 2018  shall be placed on Merit. Such candidates shall be eligible to teach in all the Districts of Tamil Nadu cited hereinabove.
