TSGENCO Notification 2018, AEE AE Lineman Recruit Jobs Form/Ques Papers:

TSGENCO AEE / AEM / AEC / LM – Online Registration: Taking cognizance of TSGENCO / Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Limited (TSPGCL) Notification in the offing in respect of Recruitment to the Posts of Assistant Engineer (Electrical) (AEE), Assistant Engineer (Electronics) (AEE), Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) (AEM), Assistant Engineer (Civil) (AEC), in Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Limited (TSGENCO) for the Year 2018 – 19, while we state here that Online Registration for these Posts shall commence as per the Dates officially advertised in the Detailed Online Notification, we would like to elaborate on the Eligibility Criteria, Procedure for Selection, Selection Criteria, Scheme of the Optical Markup Reader Based Written Examination / Computer Based Recruitment Examination / Computer Based Recruitment Test, Category-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks among others in the subsequent Part.

  • Online Registration shall commence as per the Date published in the Notification.
  • The e-Admit Cards / Hall Examination Tickets shall be released Minimum 07 Days before Optical Markup Reader Based Written Examination.

Optical Markup Reader Based Screening Test / Answer Sheet (OMRAS) / Objective Responsive Sheet (ORS) based Written Examination shall be 100 Marks with 80 Marks allocated for the concerned Engineering Branch and 20 Marks on General Ability & Numerical Ability (GANA).

Procedure for Selection:

  1. Selection of the Candidates for Appointment to the Posts shall be made 100% on the basis of the Optical Markup Reader Based Screening Test / Written Examination comprising the Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions. The OMR Based Written Test carrying Maximum 100 Marks shall comprise 100 Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions with each Multiple Choice Questions carrying 01 (‘One’) Mark. The Section – A consists of 80 Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions on the Core Subject of respective Discipline (Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Civil); and the Section – B comprising 20 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective Type on General Awareness and Numerical Ability. Composite Duration for the Optical Markup Reader Based Written Examination will be 02 Hours (120 Minutes). The Syllabus for the Written Examination is shown in Annexure – II.
  2. Only those Candidates, who qualify in the OMR Based Written Examination by being ranked High, Community-wise would be called for Verification of Original Certificates in 1:1 Ratio.
  • The Category-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks in the Optical Markup Reader Based Written Test for the above Process / Procedure of the Selection shall be as follows:

Note:  Mere securing Category-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks obtained in the Optical Markup Reader Based Written Examination doesn’t vest any right in any Candidate for being called for Verification of Original Certificates unless and until the he / she fulfills all the Recruitment Conditions including the Medical Examination, Character and Antecedent Verification / Check to the utmost satisfaction of the Appointment Agency.

Selection Criteria:

The whole Recruitment and Selection Process is carried out with utmost regard to maintain secrecy and confidentiality so as to ensure that the Principle of Merit is followed.

Only those Candidates who qualify in the Written Examination by being ranked high, Community wise will be called for Verification of Original Certificates in 1:1 Ratio.

The Minimum Qualifying Marks in the Written Test for the above Selection Process shall be as follows:

Eligibility Conditions:

Age Limit As On 01.07.2018

In case of General Candidates Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 44 Years of Age.

In case of Other Reserved Category Candidates Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 44 Years

In case of Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Backward Castes, Relaxation of 05 Years

In case of Persons with Disabilities / Physically Challenged / Handicapped Candidates,

Relaxation of 10 Years.

Educational Qualification:

Assistant Engineer (Electricals / Mechanical / Electronics / Civil):

a) Assistant Engineer / Electrical The Candidate must possess a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering awarded by any University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or Provincial Act, or a State Act or an institution recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or a Pass in Sections ‘A’ & ’B’ of Institution of Engineers (India) – Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (India) Examination in Electrical Engineering.
   
b) Assistant Engineer / Mechanical The Candidate must possess a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering awarded by any University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or Provincial Act, or a State Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or a Pass in Sections ‘A’ & ’B’ of the Institution of Engineers (India) Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (India) Examination in Mechanical Engineering.
   
c) Assistant Engineer / Electronics The Candidate must possess a Bachelor Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering / Instrumentation Controls Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering / Electronics & Control Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering / Electronics Instrumentation & Power / Power Electronics awarded by any University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or Provincial Act, or a State Act or an institution recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or a Pass in Sections ‘A’ & ’B’ of the Institution of Engineers (India)  Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (India) Examination in Electronics Engineering
   
d) Assistant Engineer / Civil The Candidate must possess a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or Provincial Act, or a State Act or an institution recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or a Pass in Sections ‘A’ & ’B’ of the Institution of Engineers (India) Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (India) Examination in Civil Engineering.
